Over the years, Backer has grown multiple social media platforms, most notably building Futurology’s and IOTC’s pages from the ground up. Featured here are reels he produced and edited from start to finish.
Documentary Filmmaking
As a director and producer, Backer is in the early stages of his documentary filmmaking career. To date, he has directed two projects: Trauma: The New Epidemic, currently making its way through film festivals, and America’s Trumpet, a student project completed at the university level.
Webdesign
As Director of Marketing for IOTC, Backer designed all graphics and wrote all copy for traumacentral.org. He has also developed and managed multiple fundraising campaigns and ticketing systems, integrating Zeffy with WordPress.
