Trauma Central

At the International Orthopedic Trauma Collaborative, I built social media, website content, and marketing efforts from the ground up, growing the organization’s presence to over 25,000 followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I also led bi-weekly meetings, managed interns, and produced and directed content. This brand presence directly contributed to securing hundreds of thousands of dollars in life-saving medical equipment now being delivered overseas.

Content Management Systems

Working initially with a web designer, I launched traumacentral.org by creating the logo, copy, images, and graphics. Drawing on my training at KU’s School of Journalism, I was already experienced with WordPress and quickly took over full site management. The site became a hub for events, embedded donation links, and broader organizational outreach.
